With the recent judgement of Bernie Madoff many in the financial markets are apprehensive. This need not be the case and as an investor it shows that it is wise to diversify.

People like Madoff are going to continue to be around. Keep an eye on your holdings and always be wary, after all it is YOUR money.

And learn to trust your instinct. If it doesn’t feel right it’s probably not.
